Personal Ministry Statement:

“God has made me to be a pastor, and I feel particularly called to work with young adults on campus. I have experience with and commitment to young adults and the processes and questions of this time of life. Because I have my own sense of call and pastoral identity, and external affirmation from previous students, I believe this is the area in which I most faithfully use the gifts God has given me for ministry.” (from Rostered Leader Profile; May 1, 2016)

Formal Education:

Doctor of Ministry (Biblical Studies) Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Austin, Texas 2016.

Mastor of Divinity (Theology) Luther Northwestern Theological Seminary in St. Paul, MN 1993.

Bachelor of Arts (Languages) University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa 1987.

Additional Commentary (from her Rostered Leader Profile) excerpt:

“I am a Biblical storyteller, learning Bible stories by heart for proclamation in worship or other settings. While a campus pastor, I [have] trained dozens of students in this spiritual discipline as well… I feel strongly about storytelling as a medium for embodying the word, promise, grace, hope, and love of God.”
