A number of different activities are available for adults to participate in at the ULC.
Bibles & Bagels
Bibles and Bagels is a weekly opportunity to study the scripture appointed for the up-coming Sunday based on the Revised Common Lectionary. Each session begins at 8 a.m. and concludes at 9 a.m. on Wednesdays. Participants are asked to bring their own Bibles. All versions of the Bible are welcome.
Wednesday Evening Prayer
Each Wednesday, during the academic year, at 6:30 p.m., we invite you to take time for prayer and devotion. We are always in need of cantors, musicians and people to offer reflections. If you are interested in offering your help, please talk to Pastor Lori Ruge-Jones.
Wednesday Free Dinners
Each Wednesday, during the academic year, at 5:45 p.m. there is a free dinner in the ERC Fireside Student Lounge. Members are needed to help provide the food. Menus are planned so that you only need to provide a portion of the meal. If someone contacts you to provide food, we hope you will generously respond and also join us at meal.
ERC Book Club
The ERC Book Club meets on the last Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. in the ERC library. This book club is open to anyone, anytime.
